Green Line: West Loop

Tiffany, Tunnels and Tulips

Green Line: West Loop

The Green Line: West Loop Tour showcases Chicago’s Near West Side. Running during the winter months, this tour is almost entirely indoors. We’ll kick things off with a donut before we explore the stunning architecture inside the Chicago Cultural Center.  From there, we’ll discover the Pedway, a series of subterranean tunnels that crisscross the city as we make our way to the train. We emerge from the Pedway inside Macy’s (formerly Marshall Field & Co.) where we’ll view ornate interior design and decor. Next stop, the Green Line.

Once on board, we’ll journey farther west to visit the beautiful Garfield Park Conservatory. We’ll then board the Green Line again and head to the West Loop where we’ll enjoy some light bites at a local restaurant, just steps from the Green Line. After another brief train ride, we’ll head back to the Loop for a drink at a cozy, historic pub.
